AM General has set up new international dealers for the distribution of their commercial Hummer. To support this new business development, Strategic has made enhancements to their dealer Communications system to support this international venture. As part of the solution, Strategic will continue to manage the dealer communication system with a support hot line for both domestic and international dealer support. International dealers are quickly being setup all across the world.
AM General contracts Strategic to run commercial operations for new Hummer launch.
AM General Corporation has developed a plan to distribute a commercial version of their existing military Hummer to the general public. To accomplish this task AM General contracted Strategic to help in the new business venture. AM General looked for Strategic to provide both a suite of integrated systems to handle all aspects of the commercial venture (Vehicle Distribution, Warranty Administration, Parts Management and Dealer Communications) as well as providing expertise in commercial vehicle distribution to help initiate project in a quick and efficient manner. As part of the arrangement, Strategic was also contracted to become the IS data operations center for the new commercial venture. This enables a Communications link to Strategic's headquarters for systems, internal operations and dealer support.
