Flexible Recall Campaign / Service Action Initiation

The Strategic Warranty System provides a flexible tool for initiating and managing recall campaings or service actions. Once recall campaigns have been approved, the system will easily find all associated vehicles and apply them to the open recall campaign or service action. The system handles communication mailers to customers and manages the recall program from initiation to completion.


The system helps you manage the complete recall program by ensuring that program expenses are proceeding within the allocated budget. The system also streamlines recall procedures to ensure that administration expenses are kept to a minimum. Recall procedures are handled efficiently for the benefit of both dealers and customers who may be inconvenienced by such recall programs and service actions.

Recall Templates

Recall templates enable you to define a warranty claim associated with a specific recall program. This claim template defines the allowable labor, parts, and materials, which will be reimbursed to the dealer once recall work has been completed.


With recall templates, dealers need not submit a warranty claim for recall work. Instead, notification of a recall campaign will automatically create a warranty claim based on the recall template. This template also allows you to ensure that recall reimbursements are set before launching the recall program or service action.

Process Recall Claims Through Existing Warranty System

Recall campaign claims are processed through the existing warranty system. A classification code will enable you to segregate claims posted against a recall campaign or service action.


This provides a consistent framework for dealers and service personnel, keeping expenses and claim administration to a minimum. This also allows you to utilize existing analysis reports to incorporate recall campaign and service actions, as well as enabling you to generate separate analysis reports for specific recall campaigns.
